A chain of Sainik Schools is managed by the Sainik Schools Society. The schools aim to serve the country as generating young talents, grooming them in various areas. Admissions are made through the Entrance and it is irrespective of region, income background. Seats are reserved for children of Defence personnel.
Sainik schools conduct entrance test for 6th std admission.The exam is conducted in all the sainiks, all over India. The students should be passed out with the entrance for Sainik admission.
Only Boys are eligible for the Sainik admission and all the 18 sainik branches are affiliated with CBSE syllabus.
