SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination ( CHSLE ) 2016 Online Practice Test:
Staff Selection commission recently replaced the Combined Matric Level Examination to Combined Higher secondary level examination. SSC conducts the exam every year for the recruitment of Clerks, Stenographers in various Government Departments. It is held at National Level and the selection is done across the country.
Grade C Stenographers, LDC and Grade D Stenographers are recruited to Customs houses, Central Secretariat Services, Railway Board, Election Commission of India, Central vigilance Commission, Income Tax Department only thru this exam.
SSC conducts CHSLE in two levels, Preliminary and Main Examinations. One who successfully passes out in Prelims is eligible to appear for Main examination.

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an examination for Recruitment of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators and Lower Divisional Clerks.

SSC CHSLE Exam 2016 Time duration is 75 mins
The questions will be set both in English & Hindi and SSC CHSLE will have negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC CHSLE Scheme of Examination: The examination will consist of a Written Examination and Skill Test for the post of Data Entry Operator / and / Written Test and Typing Test for the post of Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Lower Division Clerk on Computer
Skill Test will be conducted for DEO thru online. 8000 key impression shall be made by the candidate within an hours time.
Typing Test will be conducted for LDC ( PA / SA ). 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. corresponds to 10500 key depressions per hour/9000 key depressions per hour respectively.
Stenography Test : The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer only.
