SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination :

Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level Exams for recruiting the selected candidates to Non-technical and Non-gazette posts in various departments of Government of India.

SSC CGL contains 2 papers and Personality Test. A candidate, who successfully passes out in the three levels, has chances of getting postings in SSC.

SSC CGL Exam pattern is as follows:

Tier – I – Written Examination ( Objective Multiple Choice Type )
Tier – II – Written Examination ( Objective Multiple Choice Type )
Tier – III- Personality Test / Interview / Computer Proficiency Test or Skill Test ( wherever applicable ) – Interview

Staff Selection Commission CGL Important Dates:

Staff Selection Commission will hold Combined Graduate Level ( Tier I ) Examination, 2013 on Sundays the 19th May, 2013 and if necessary, on subsequent Saturdays / Sundays, in different batches, for selecting the candidates for Tier II examination for filling up different categories of SSC posts in various Ministries / Departments / Organisations. Subject to administrative / public exigencies, Combined Graduate Level ( Tier II ) Examination, 2013 will be held on 30th August, 2013 ( paper – III ) and 1st September, 2013 ( paper – I & II ).

For the post of Assistants, Inspector of Income-tax, Inspector (central excise), Sub- Inspector in CBI, Inspector of posts, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Divisional Accountants, Junior Accountants, Inspector in Central Bureau of Narcotics, Auditors, Tax assistants, UDCS, Compiler, Sub-Inspector in Sub-Inspector in Central Bureau of Narcotics the examination will consist of two papers as above.
